We have been commissioned by the United States Bankruptcy Court to auction off a home located in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. There is a 6% Buyer's Premium.
The 6% Buyer's Premium is due on the day of the auction and shall be received by the auctioneer in the form of a bank wire transfer no later than 11:00AM CST on Friday, August 26, 2022. The balance shall be due at the time of closing, not to exceed 45 days from the date of the auction. The buyer's premium will serve as a non-refundable deposit and will be forfeited to the Auctioneer in the event that the bidder fails to close within the 45 days. The personal property such as furniture and non-real estate items do not go with the sale of the real estate. The Debtor is currently living in the property and knows that they will have to vacate the residence before or upon closing of the property.
