City of Shreveport Surplus Auction & Open Consignment Auction 7-6-2023
The City of Shreveport Surplus Online Internet Auction will be conducted by Lawler Auction Company on their website at https://bid.LawlerAuction.com. The auction will begin to close at 6:30PM CST beginning with Lot # 1, and with each subsequent lot closing approximately 10 seconds behind the other. In the event of a last minute bid, the bidding will be extended out approximately two minutes each time a bid is placed giving the other bidders an opportunity to increase their bid. The auctioneer may elect to link alike lots together to where they close at the same time, at his discretion, so that the bidding is extended on those alike lots as well. A preview and inspection of the items will be held on the day the auction closes (July 6) from 1pm to 5pm CST. While most lots will be located at the Lawler Auction Facility at 7781 Highway 1 North, Shreveport, Louisiana, the City may elect to sell certain lots in place on city properties. Each lot will have the location of the lot in the descriptions. This auction will be held in conjunction with an open consignment auction from other agencies, individuals and companies. Consignments Welcome, we ask you please call ahead to avoid any wait time in consigning items. Also for appointments if needing assistance with off loading. Thank you for your cooperation, as we are intaking a lot of items for the city.
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ! Many of the City assets are located at various city locations throughout Shreveport. To check the location of each lot, click on "Location" and it will give you a location address and a contact person at that location, including a phone number. All items located at the Lawler Auction Facility must be removed by 5pm on Friday, JULY 7, 2023. After that time you will accrue a $9 a day / per lot storage fee! For all items on City property, you are also asked to pick up your items on Friday, July 7, however you may be able to ask for an extension from the City by contacting the contact person at that location. However, any items not picked up on Friday are at your own risk.
