We have been commissioned by the United States Marshals Service to auction off real estate seized in connection with the criminal case of the United States v. William Ross Hickman. Mr. Hickman was sentenced to federal prison and his assets were seized by the United States Marshals Service in order to pay restitution to the victims in this case. This includes Mr. Hickman's home and real estate located at 1050 Elliott Road, Arcadia, Louisiana 71001. This will be offered in two auction lots, subject to final court approval.
The United States Attorney's Office reserves the right to enter a secret reserve at anytime prior to the auction with the auctioneer if it is determined that the bids are not sufficient or in proportion to the appraisal amount. If the U. S. Attorney's Office exercises its right to enter such a reserve, that reserve amount will be a secret reserve and will not be disclosed until after the auction closes.
